Nowadays roofing copper is one of the best and durable materials for roofing. Copper is a material with long-history which is known from ancient times. At present copper roofing adorns many buildings, from modern ones to historical ones. Such features of copper as durability, ecological properties, prestige and beauty as well as simplicity and plasticity in assembling are some of the reasons for selection of this material.

Long-term service of copper roofing is defined by copper unique features, namely by the process of its oxidation. Within long-term copper roofing changes its exterior due to chemical processes. Only harmless compounds are formed on copper sheets at various atmospheric impacts. Initially copper is shiny and has yellow-red in color. After assembling copper gradually starts become darker coming later to bronze-brown color and close to black. Oxidation process takes place relatively fast. And after formation of chemical-resistant film on the surface of copper roofing – patina (approximately in 10-20 years), this process is being slowed. Oxidation process speed (patina forming) depends on aggressiveness of environment, air moisture, intensity of sun light (ultraviolet rays) and many other nature impacts. But the sequence itself remains unchangeable.

Modern technologies enable to imitate copper sheets aging and get the effect of “aged copper” immediately after roofing assembling (copper oxidation and patina-forming process).

As for today we offer three kinds of copper roofing:

  • classical copper standing seam roofing
  • copper roofing tile of various shape and dimension
  • copper volume roofing tile of various shape and dimension
